How long does a session take?
Most sessions take 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your cat’s coat condition and temperament. We suggest setting aside 2 hours per cat.
Do you sedate cats?
We do use calming sprays, music and catnip. We use gentle handling techniques and create a calm environment to keep your cat relaxed. Because high stress can medically harm your cat, we will take short breaks during the grooming session.
What if my cat is aggressive or fearful?
Valerie is trained to work with cats of all temperaments. We go at your cat’s pace and prioritize their comfort.
Do I need to be home for the in-home service?
Yes – we ask that you be present during the session to help your cat feel safe and secure.
Is the spa room at Furbabies open to all cats?
Yes, all cats are welcome. We only accept pre-booked cats in advance since spaces is limited and to provide the least stressful environment.
